Wildfire Relief

WE NEED YOUR HELP

We are calling upon the family and friends of KGF to help folks affected by the Oregon wildfires. Pastor Sara has been ministering as a Fire Chaplin to those affected by the Holiday Farm fire. Please let us know if you have been affected by the fire or are still trying to contact someone who may have been. People have offered to help with various needs, and we would love to help make those connections.

Here is a list of some desperately needed donations:

  • Coolers
  • Totes
  • Tents/Tarps
  • Canopies
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Snack foods
  • Flashlights
  • Tents
  • Phone chargers
  • Masks
  • Gatorade/Water
  • Blankets/Pillows
  • Socks

Donations may be dropped off in North Eugene at 2699 Roosevelt Boulevard or at the KGF building. Please consider bringing grocery store gift cards. (This makes it easy for us to serve any families who come to us with needs.)

We are preparing our building as a Smoke Respite Shelter. We have many volunteer opportunities. Please let us know if you’d like to be on a contact list when all is ready. There will be a lot of work in the days to come, and opportunities to contribute.

If you, or anyone you know, have been evacuated and have not found a clean-air place to stay overnight, please let us know. We have limited options for housing people, but we want to use all that we do have. We also have bathrooms and a shower that will be available for use.

Let’s do all we can to care for our community during this horrific time. If you have questions, please contact us via Messenger or this communication form.
